Judge My Route

Hey guys,

I'm from STL and am leading a group of guys from my club down to your area this weekend. Been down there a few times before, but just want the best route possible. The twistier the better so feel free to critique the route I through together.

Take 263 south at Big flat, 66 west to 74, north on 74 to 27, turn left and go to Marshall. I would get gas in Hector turn around and run 27 north to 16. I don't like running on 7 that much, but that's just me.

On the section from Point B to Point C. At the junction of Hwy 7 & just north of Dover I would head west on 164 toward Hagarville, and then at Hagarville turn north onto what we call lower 123. Then run 123 all the way up to the junction of Hwy 16 & 7 at Pelsor. That avoids a pretty long section of Hwy 7 that usually has a lot of traffic on it.

Also Logan's suggestion is spot on. Take that Hwy 263 down to Timbo and then head west toward Hwy 47 using it to get back to Marshall. That section of 74 is primo and I'd wager you will not see a single cager.

Hey I just rhymed!

Thanks guys! I went ahead and added the section of 263 to 66 to 74 and the "lower section" of 123 as well. As I recall 7 wasn't all that exciting.

This is how the route looks now: http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=1005+ ... 11&t=m&z=9
