Old bikes just have that certain something that newer bikes don't.
Character? Maybe. Carburetors? Definitely.
Zip ties? I'll leave that one alone. LOL

V65 Magna!

When I find a excellent condition fairly low mile bike I will buy it.

And even the duct tape is gone off the seat, now just the gummy residue.

Hey from STL.. Love the Arkansas roads there! Just got back from the gap area once again...

In short:

Dragon 129.. Definatly fun but still a novelty road in the area...Early morn/late eve we run that and most often no LEO.

Highway 28......From the gap store, past Fontana, all the way to Franklin NC and the Highlands... Nothing less than awesome twisties..Technical.

Highway 60 and 68 Technical/switchbacks..Amazing.. Telico Plaines to Sueches, Georgia..

Blood Mountain.. Amazing .....Thats in North Georgia...Watch for troopers on the weekends and even some weekdays..Do a search for that "Blood Mountain" "Motorcycles"

The Cherahala is a very fun road.. Still careful its busy and more killed there than on the Dragon.

Scenic: Smokey Mountain national Park route/ Blue ridge Parkway/ Federal roads so the fines for speeding can be $500 bucks..

Theres even a lot more than that.. We do about 300 miles per day in 3 days in the area.. TN, NC and Georgia.

Cherohola Skyway +1

Dragon to me is a cool hang out road. Too tight to be a whole lot of fun (think upper 123 even kinkier) but the Skyway lets you lean longer and unwind the throttle some.
