Warren this Saturday May 5th

Postby rolleronariver » Wed May 02, 2012 1:20 pm

Cinco de Mayo Warren ride this Saturday. We'll probably start riding around 10:00. Weather is looking perfect, shouldn't have a problem getting some heat in the tires!! So, who's in?

I wish I had time to build a mini motard out of the brand new cfr150r I bought to do so.

Maybe I could sweet talk Jack into letting me drop it by his house and him telling me how much $ it would take. :banana

I would be there if I had a bike, don't like riding others. I did that once and know it is a blast and hope I can get the bike built sometime and ride with you guys.

Get a Sedici, I know where to find one.

Motards are for people who love motorcycles and excitement. If you only like Modern Sport Bikes like yourself then I can see why the tards are not intriguing.

Being different is what makes the world go around.

Though if you got a tard you could get a whole different set up of gear... :biglol :biglol :biglol :biglol :biglol :biglol

Lol! Most of us actually do have separate suits just for tards. I wear my old agv suit that I had fixed after hitting a deer years ago and sliding down the pavement at 70+mph. My Astar is reserved for the big bike. The motards are great even if you are a big bike enthusiast. It will really help you learn braking and throttle control. Not to mention corner speed and drifting! Nick, if you've never rode them you really ought to try. I was kind of like you a year ago and I let Don talk me into going down there to ride his and a few months later I added a motard to the stable I enjoyed it so much. I still love spending time on the sport bike but motards are a great and exciting change of scenery. and normally you don't spend near as much when you do bite the dirt.
