A 600 has to have it's motor spinning above 10,000 to get out of it's own way. A 1000 not so much. You can come out of any corner on the 14 or the Busa in the wrong gear (to high) and it wont matter. Just twist the throttle and either bike will blast out of the corner. Want to ride ALL day? You can have the 600 or liter bike. I'm 57, I'll take my Busa anywhere, anytime over any 600 and 1000 for the way I ride. On the street I can usually keep pace pretty good. After all the street is not the race track. I agree with Dan. For the money, the 14 and the Busa are nearly perfect for the street.

Yep go any distance or blast the streets. :ok

I concur with your findings Dr. Logan & the 11 mile stretch of which you speak makes a 600 sing & zing around 12 grand, well short of its peak.

Another plus for those 2 bikes is that the Haybusa has a 5.5 gallon tank and the zx 15 has a 5.8 gas tank...real plus for the road

"the busa and or kawi 14 cannot and will not be even close to a rider on a 600 or 1000 in the curves."

I would agree to that statement on a road with "tight" curves.
Knowing the difference between right and wrong is easy. The hard part is choosing the wrong thats more right.
