Yeah Rubn it's a roll of the dice who you get. When a entity like a air evac wants money and a entity like a insurance company get in a pizzing contest we usually lose. Fortunately I just took a $1000 ambulance ride. Never saw the bill but agent said thats how much it was or maybe wife I dunno. I was told by my State Farm Agent of 30 years regardless of transportation $250 was all I would have paid State Farm. I don't mean to promote but he said I'm grandfathered and never any insurance increases due to crashes only the usual occasional increase for all, they arent as cheap as geico or progressive but proves I wouldn't have to battle with them to pay for air evac. ( Plus he said my policy had short term disability which I was paid weekly from them). Plus my paycheck. Was a sweet deal considering.
BTW, I saw a pic on the crash and a Fire Truck, Trooper, First Responder and another I didn't recognize. If a Fire Truck is dispatched do they charge to go?
